Capital Fireplaces Ltd has recently launched a new range of smart fireplaces. The campany's Technical Director, Andrew Hayman, was happy to share some of his reflections on working with Exploding Phone to develop supporting technology in the form of apps of iOS, Android, Smart Watches and even an Alexa skill.
Firstly Andrew discussed the process of identifying Exploding Phone as a suitable development partner commenting: "Having explored the market for a friendly and easy-to-deal-with company at the right price we are delighted to have entered into this successful relationship with Exploding Phone who dealt with every query and challenge with aplomb and professionalism to provide intuitive-to-use app".
Commenting on the projects high-level objectives he said, "Creating something brand new in the fireplace industry had some huge interface challenges, each one of which the team at Exploding Phone were equal to, validated by a fabulous response in the market place to our new product launch".
"Being complete novices to App development, we found the clear explanations of each step and the attention to the detail we required for our App refreshing. This culminated in a simple-to-use, attractive App which has fitted the brief and more".
In conclusion Andrew summed up his expereince of working with the Exploding Phone: "The team had an open and flexible approach to the detailed development along the way, explaining clearly the implications of any of my inexpert questions and requests. As a result of this approach we now have a super app fitting its purpose like a hand in a glove."
